1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using H2T2H, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Continued use after we post updates to these Terms means you accept the revised version.

2. What H2T2H Is

H2T2H is an AI-powered communication coaching tool. It helps you rewrite messages and prepare replies using language principles drawn from communication research. The service operates in two modes: rewrite (improving a draft you wrote) and reply coach (helping you respond to an incoming message).

H2T2H is not a substitute for professional advice. Suggestions generated by H2T2H are not therapy, counseling, legal advice, medical advice, or crisis support. Do not rely on them as such. If you are in crisis or danger, contact emergency services or a qualified professional.

3. AI-Generated Suggestions

H2T2H uses a third-party large language model (xAI's Grok) to generate suggestions. You should understand the following:

• AI outputs can be inaccurate, incomplete, inappropriate, or not suitable for your specific situation.
• Suggestions are starting points, not finished messages. Review and edit every suggestion before sending it.
• The service cannot verify facts, understand full relationship context, or predict how another person will respond.
• We make no guarantee that using a suggested message will produce a specific outcome.

4. Account Responsibilities

• Provide accurate information when creating your account and keep it up to date.
• Keep your password secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Do not share your account credentials or allow others to use your account.
• Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

5. Acceptable Use

You may not use H2T2H to:

• Harass, threaten, stalk, or intimidate another person, including by crafting manipulative or coercive messages using AI suggestions.
• Engage in fraud, impersonation, or deception.
• Submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, or that violates another person's privacy.
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits, access controls, or billing enforcement.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or automate access to the service in ways not supported by the product.
• Use the service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.

6. Free Tier and Subscriptions

H2T2H offers a free tier with a limited number of translations per day. Paid subscriptions provide unlimited access and are billed through Stripe on a recurring basis.

• Free tier limits are subject to change. We will communicate significant changes through the service.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. You can cancel at any time through the billing portal in Settings. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
• We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods except where required by applicable law.
• Payment processing is handled by Stripe. By subscribing, you also agree to Stripe's terms of service.

7. Apple App Store Subscriptions (iOS App)

This section applies only if you subscribe to H2T2H through the iOS app using Apple's In-App Purchase, rather than through Stripe on the website. It supplements, and does not replace, Section 6.

• Price, duration, and payment. Subscriptions purchased in the iOS app are auto-renewing. The subscription length, price, and price per unit (where applicable) are disclosed on the purchase screen in the app before you buy. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Auto-renewal. Your subscription renews automatically for the same length and price unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the price then in effect.
• Managing and canceling. You can manage or cancel an App Store subscription at any time in your device Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions, or in the App Store app under your account. Canceling turns off auto-renewal; you keep access through the end of the period you already paid for. We cannot cancel an Apple-billed subscription on your behalf - the App Store account settings are the only way to cancel it.
• Restore Purchases. If you reinstall the app or switch devices, use the “Restore Purchases” option in the app to restore an active subscription without paying again.
• Refunds. Purchases and refund requests for subscriptions billed through the App Store are handled by Apple under Apple's refund policies, not by us. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com or through your Apple ID purchase history.
• Platforms are billed independently. A subscription purchased through the App Store and one purchased through Stripe on our website are not automatically linked, transferred, or prorated between platforms. Subscribing on one does not cancel or credit a subscription on the other. If you are subscribed on both, cancel the one you no longer want directly with that platform (App Store settings, or the billing portal in Settings for a Stripe subscription).

This section constitutes a binding legal agreement between you and us alone, not with Apple Inc. (“Apple”). Apple is not a party to these Terms and has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support for the app. If the app fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price for the app, if any, to you; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the app. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to the app or your possession or use of it, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to conform to legal or regulatory requirements, and claims under consumer protection law. Apple is not responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, or discharge of any third-party claim that the app or your possession or use of it infringes a third party's intellectual property rights; that responsibility is ours alone. You agree to comply with any applicable third-party terms (for example, your wireless data service agreement) when using the app. Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms as they relate to your use of the iOS app, and upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple has the right to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.

8. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the message content you submit to H2T2H. By submitting content, you grant us a limited license to process it for the purpose of generating a suggestion and improving service quality through anonymized feedback (as described in our Privacy Policy).

H2T2H, its prompts, interfaces, and underlying systems are owned by us. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of the service to you.

AI-generated suggestions produced in response to your input are provided for your personal use. We do not claim ownership of the generated output.

9. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

H2T2H is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that suggestions will be accurate or appropriate for your situation.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, H2T2H and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service or reliance on AI-generated suggestions. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 30 days before the claim arose.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, misuse the service, or pose a security risk. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you unless doing so would compromise security or legal obligations.

You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. Any active subscription is canceled when you do. Upon deletion, your personal data will be handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms when the service changes in material ways. We will post the revised date at the top of this page. Continued use of H2T2H after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
